Life After...
My son, Joseph, died on May 26, 2005 after one hour on earth. This blog helped me sort through my feelings and prepare for his sister, Eleanor Grace, born in July 2006. Here's the ongoing saga of learning to parent after a loss.

Yah I love these! What is that song?
It's "The Sporting Life" by the Decemberists. The album's liner notes have pictures of the band dressed up to reenact each of the songs.
I bought the album after hearing 'We Both Go Down Together' on satellite radio. My husband thinks the guy sounds like They Might Be Giants!
That's why I bought it too! and yes, I also think he sounds like John Linnell...TMBG is another band I love.
Is it just me, or have some of your images disappeared (song, drink and online name). I probably wouldn't have gotten your song, anyway (though at least I've *heard* of the Decemberists, which is not bad for me, since I kind of dropped out of the music scene somewhere around 1989...)
are you a vegan???
i have to say i prefer the decemberists to tmbg - i feel like the tmbg guys sometimes actually take themselves seriously, which scares me.
Nope, definitely not a vegan! The soap is from Lush, I just happen to like the way it smells.
You know, that's a good point about TMBG taking themselves seriously...I saw them for the first time last year and I definitely got that vibe as well.
